On the list, first day back...

Dear Diary,

Went to the allotment today, well, I've been going almost everyday now. It has been a very dismal, dull day and very slushy mud along the lanes, I'm going to have to get some wellies!
It was also quite cold, so Dad lit the log burner and whilst he was digging and nipping around the site, I kept nice and toasty warm. The warmth actually makes you quite tired!

Last night, my Dad asked me to search for allotment applications and I filled out my Mum's information. Dad said that means I'm officially on the waiting list. :)

I know exactly what I'm going to grow. Fruit; such as rhubarb, raspberries, strawberries and pears.
Certain Veg; such as, artichokes, rocket salad, radish and sugar snaps. Various flowers; such as daisies, sweet pea and roses. Herbs; such as garlic, chives, lavender and coriander.
Plus, I would really like one grassy, spacey area for my little sister to play and do her wild things there. If any space left, I told my Dad I would like the swing and see-saw frame from his plot onto mine, for her. I would also like chickens and let my sister have one of her own. She wants to call it Bob :)

I've already drawn a sketch to show how I want it. I'd like a theme of colour, loads of flowers at least!
Oo, I'd also like either a bed or a sofa in the shed ;)

I think you get the jist. Looks massive, but in reality it'll probably be a lot smaller.
I like to sketch things out, either to stick to my plan, change it, refer back to it or to just remember my ideas!

Think this is really cute. It's like a crumbly, brick heart shape that I found on my Dad's friend's plot. Just kept it because it's not often you can spot something like this, must mean something..;) :)
Then I dropped it by mistake, and it chipped. A crumb fell off and looking closely, that's also the shape of a heart. Haha!
